- We operate in the borough of Lewisham. Our main hostel is in Brockley, and our 2 second stage shared flats are in New Cross. We have 26 bed spaces altogether.
- We aim to give young women a secure base from which to develop self-respect, independence and purpose. (This is our Mission Statement)
Who do Marsha Phoenix Memorial Trust house & support?
- We house young women aged 16 to 21 in our main hostel, and 18 to 24 in our second stage hostel.
- We prefer people to have a Lewisham connection, such as family, school, college or support, or to have been living in the borough.
- We cannot take anyone with a history of violence, an active drink or drug problem, severe mental health issues or people who have been involved in arson.
- We accept referrals from any agency which works with our client group. We operate a waiting list for vacancies. Referrals are made using our standard application form and all applicants are interviewed prior to acceptance.
