WHAT WE OFFER

What is Marsha Phoenix Memorial Trust?

• Marsha Phoenix Memorial Trust is a supported housing project, which provides hostel accommodation for young women.
• We operate in the borough of Lewisham. Our main hostel is in Brockley, and our 2 second stage shared flats are in New Cross. We have 26 bed spaces altogether.
• We aim to give young women a secure base from which to develop self-respect, independence and purpose. (This is our Mission Statement)

Who do Marsha Phoenix Memorial Trust house & support?

1. We house young women aged 16 to 21 in our main hostel, and 18 to 24 in our second stage hostel.
2. We prefer people to have a Lewisham connection, such as family, school, college or support, or to have been living in the borough.
3. We cannot take anyone with a history of violence, an active drink or drug problem, severe mental health issues or people who have been involved in arson.
4. We accept referrals from any agency which works with our client group. We operate a waiting list for vacancies. Referrals are made using our standard application form and all applicants are interviewed prior to acceptance.
