Mission Statement

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Through our work in providing housing, support and care, we aim to create an environment that gives young women a secure base from which to develop self-respect, independence and purpose in their lives.

  5. We will empower our Residents/ tenants to participate in decision-making and defining services, and to take responsibility for their own lives and future development.
  6. We will seek to maintain positive and helpful relationship with residents once they leave our service and this includes those who we may be unable to continue to house for health and safety or other reasons
  7. We will ensure professional responsibility takes preference over personal interests in all our work.
  8. We will be responsible for a high quality service, developing our skills and knowledge to ensure professional standards are met,
  9. We will ensure that outreach and promotion of our services within the wider community takes place both in the interests of individuals and to ensure any one who may benefit from it accesses our service.
  10. We will maintain the confidentiality of our residents/ tenants, only divulging information by consent or if health and safety are at risk.
  11. We will work with residents / tenants in a clear manner, maintaining confidentiality in line with our procedures. Through this we hope to ensure clear expectations about our service are held, and that an understanding of the expectations that we have are known.
  12. We will monitor our services regularly to ensure we are operating both as a good employer and as an effective service provider.
