ABOUT MARSHA PHOENIX MEMORIAL TRUST
Marsha Phoenix Memorial Trust is a Supported Housing Project for single homeless young women aged 16 to 25. It was founded by Sybil Phoenix MBE, MS in 1979. Click on our history to find out more about her life and work. The Trust is named in honour of her daughter Marsha Phoenix who died in a car crash in 1974.
We are a voluntary organisation funded by a variety of sources and regulated and monitored by several bodies. See Money and Management for more information on this.
We have two hostels, both based in the London Borough of Lewisham. The first hostel is owned by us and is based in Tressillian Road, Brockley. It has 21 bedspaces. The second hostel has 6 bed spaces and is in Erlanger Road, New Cross. It is owned by London and Quadrant Housing Trust. To find out more about our daily work see our Annual report.
We provide housing and support delivered though a key work system. We focus on assisting residents with gaining all the skills they will need to function independently in society. For more details click on our service description. To find out how to be referred to the project click on the application form and Allocations and lettings policy.
STOP PRESS thank you all for wonderful support at the Fun Run 13.09.15. We raised well over £9,000 plus gift aid which will enable us to keep the food service beyond 31.03.16.!!
